Model and history

The hooded Active Jac (J130 sandstone, J140 firm duck) is Carhartt's hooded work jacket: quilted flannel lining, rib-knit cuffs and waistband, three-piece hood. Vintage examples carry Union Made or Made in USA labels and brass hardware.

Condition — lived-in

Graded lived-in: honest wear with light marks and softened canvas from real use. Structurally sound. Any notable mark is shown in the photos and video of this exact piece. Priced at $104 (was $139).

How it fits and how to wear it

Cut boxy and roomy to layer over a hoodie. Most buyers size down one from their usual jacket size for a modern fit, or keep true to size for the oversized look. Wears as a hooded outer layer over a tee or hoodie through autumn and winter. The rib-knit hem and cuffs seal in warmth; the hood is roomy enough to go over a cap. Care

Wash cold and hang dry. Duck canvas softens with every wash but hot water and tumble drying will shrink it and stiffen the shell. Spot-clean where you can.
